Kohlberg Capital Corporation
We are a publicly traded, internally managed business development company ("BDC"). Our activities include a middle market investment business which we conduct under the Kohlberg Capital name and the asset management business of Katonah Debt Advisors ("KDA").
Our middle market investment business originates, structures, finances and manages a portfolio of term loans, mezzanine investments and selected equity securities in middle market companies. Our wholly-owned portfolio company, Katonah Debt Advisors, manages collateralized loan obligation funds ("CLO Funds") which invest in broadly syndicated loans, high-yield bonds and other credit instruments. KDA currently has over $2 billion of assets under management.
We maintain a strategic relationship with Kohlberg & Co. which includes its co-managing partners serving on our Board of Directors and our Investment Committee. Kohlberg & Co. also provide us with referrals of middle market lending investment opportunities.
